t after consultant and advisor to many in the ophthalmic industry. Many patients come to our office specifically to have Trudy B. “frame style” them and design the most appropriate lenses for their personal lifestyle needs.

One of the most “difficult” aspects of Trudy B.’s job is to return to Europe several times each year to attend the major optical shows in Paris and Milan. The goal is to bring to our office the finest new eyewear collections from all of Europe and Scandinavia. Many of these collections will either never be shown in the United States due to their very cosmopolitan style or may not arrive for many years. Our office takes great pride in the knowledge that we can offer our patients a truly unique experience.

Our two additional opticians, Carole and Erika, also are holders of national credentialing. Our very talented optical staff, all of whom are dedicated to helping our patients on an individual basis, bring a cumulative experience of more than six decades of experience to the task at hand. Our entire office staff continuously attend conferences to stay abreast of any and all new developments in our industry.

Trudy B. - Office Manager

Our office manager, Trudy B., is certainly a unique individual. After graduating, with honors, from college as a dual business/english major, she immersed herself in the ophthalmic industry. While obtaining both the American Board of Opticianry (A.B.O.) and National Contact Lens Examiners (N.C.L.E.) credentialing, and all of the commensurate technical knowledge that comes with these licenses, Trudy spent several years growing and managing a very successful optometric practice while becoming expert in the retail optical industry.

Trudy is that rare combination in the optical world. She is blessed with a true artist’s eye and a highly technical understanding of lens and frame design. These qualities together led her to an international job, based in Paris, France, working with a fashion forward cutting edge eyewear frame manufacturer. In short time she became director of international sales and marketing and was intimately involved in all aspects of design. She is now a highly regarded and sought after consultant and advisor to many in the ophthalmic industry. Many patients come to our office specifically to have Trudy B. “frame style” them and design the most appropriate lenses for their personal lifestyle needs.
